Why do you people keep generalizing everyone?? Every group?? Every country?? It's annoying.

I'm under the impression that most mature, normal, "hetero's" are fine with the fact that some people are not and want those people to have the life they want and deserve as humans.

With regard to any wish to understand the details of your lifestyle or socialize at your clubs in order to better "understand" you... We don't want the details, and we don't want to take part in your lifestyle beyond respecting you as friends and individuals.

Heterosexuality is the mainstream thing whether anyone likes it or not. I (and a whole bunch of other "hetero's") don't care if you understand my lifestyle. It isn't our fault that the majority of people are heterosexual, and that people who are not have to see us.

If you and your partner live in my suburban neighborhood then I already pretty much understand your lifestyle. I'll lend you my lawnmower and see you at the Fourth of July barbeque. If, on the other hand, you're talking about things like clubs and the singles scene and whatever other thing goes on that suburban-me doesn't understand - then I don't care whether you're gay or hetero, that kind of lifestyle isn't something I want to understand or get involved with.

So, again, if you live kind of "mainstream America" then people already pretty much understand you; and if you don't live "mainstream America" lifestyle-wise then it isn't your sexual orientation people want nothing to do with. Its that "non-mainstream" lifestyle people have no interest in learning about.
