I actually 100% agree with what you just said. I thiink the Saints WILL Make the playoffs and depending on who they play they may make it to the nfc title game.

According to the advanced statistics at www.footballoutsiders.com, the Saints rank #6 in offensive value (really number 5, because that spot is held by the Eagles, who will drop lower and lower now that McNabb is out). Not only that, but they have the most consistent offence in the league, more consistently good than the Raiders are consistently bad.
On defense, they rank 24th, but are very inconsistent. They have a lot of big games where they play over their heads, then crash back to earth. They are the worst team in the league at covering the #1 WR (by a large margin, who's the #1 CB, Mike McKenzie?). I'm suprised by this, because I thought Fred Thomas was quietly having a very strong season. I wonder if the numbers are skewed because of that one game against the Bengals. The rest of the pass D looks suspect as well, even though the Saints are also the second best team in the league at defending passes to RBs.
The offense will be fine, with a healthy Colston or without. The Saints are most certainly a playoff team and the best of the NFC South. They will not get a first-round bye, and how far they advance depends on whether or not they can get some good defensive production for a few weeks in a row. Cross your fingers that you'll get to face Carolina and the New York Giants in the playoffs, both favorable matchups for the Saints.

It depends on a lot... They play the cowboys next Sunday night and that will be a tough game because of how well tony romo is playing. I would rate the two teams offenses the same but Dallas has a much better defense. The saints have that whole underdog thing going thou- their 7-4 when last year they ended up 2-14.
If they win that game i think they can win their division at 11-5 and maybe even get a first round bye like the 9-2 bears will.
If they lose to Dallas i think they will be 10-6 and grab a wild card. And honestly the whole playoff picture is a crap shoot after that.
Hope this helps.

There are way too many variables in this one. That D didn't become suspect until the Saints lost two starters in the secondary to injuries. The main one being Roman Harper. If he had been in the Cin game, I think the outcome may been different. They have also recently vet Jay Bellamy to the secondary in hopes to reviving that secondary. He has missed the beginning half of the season, but is known to turn it up and tear it up once Dec rolls around. Once they're in the playoffs, the combination of injured players possibly returning and the late season pick ups finally knocking the rust off, that D just might surprise some people. The front 7 is there without a doubt. People are also capable of improving, so if that secondary comes together by Jan, it's anybody's game.

I think the saints will win the division, but lose the first playoff game. a great offense is nice in the regular season, but the playoffs are (suppose to be) filled with good offenses, and at that point then its that old saying that "defense wins championships". and the Saints defense gives up 21.9pts per game, 323.5 yrds a game, and a grand total of 11 takeaways (and 20 giveaways). the pts/game and yrds a game are not the worst numbers in the NFL, but it is really below league average. turnovers are very bad, New Orleans are the 3rd worst in takeaways.
but if the NFL were played with numbers, then who would watch the game? the great part about football is that the game itself matters most, and you never know what might happen.

they're all my favourite Spring brings interior the hot, summer season is the exciting time of warmth from the solar and water for swimming and cooking outdoors. Then comes fall the colours are eye-catching and the air is cool. The iciness comes and looks to make the international calmer, i like the snow and ice we get because of the fact the moon hits it and glints like a wonderland.

I'm a Cowboy fan, but, I love the Saints and would like to see them go all the way. I kind of agree with you on what they'll do though.

It would be so nice to see them win. It would be a great boost to New Orleans.
