Pretty much anything made post 1990's. Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kesha, rap, and the like of which are all incredibly brutal. Let's go back to the 60's and 70's and rejoice in the excess that was Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, shall we? There was actual hand-crafted, genuine, wholesome music that was played in studio and in live concert (without the studio version playing in the background, believe it or not). I feel pretty sad for this generation of youth.

HARD question- there are so many songs. But the song that affects me the most and that is what music is supposed to do is "Heroes" by Bowie. I knew the song long before it was used for 9/11. Next in line would be from my favorite band, the Stones- "You can't always get what you want".
