I don't know what the chances are...but I know I felt the EXACT same way. I'm 37 weeks now! For my 1st sonogram I was told I am having a girl, but I know that they could make a mistake, so I went to another place that specializes in 3d/4d ultrasounds. I went there for a couple visits and got told a total of 3 times I'm having a girl...the technician even printed out a picture of her "private area" for me! If you have been told more than once than I would go ahead and believe it! but if your still curious I recommend going to a 3d/4d ultrasound place, and maybe wait until your about 30 weeks, everything should be clear by then!!
best of luck!

on the tip of the day, you would be able to prefer and all and sundry can do is grant their opinion and journey in this occasion. in my opinion, i does not abort as i don't see Down's syndrome as a extreme sufficient incapacity to justify it. In yet another 2 weeks, your toddler is practicable and stands a sturdy possibility of survival exterior of the womb. countless infants have survived in neonatal in intensity care gadgets from 22 weeks gestation onwards. mutually as there are some well being problems each so often linked with the syndrome, a remarkable style of Downs babies stay extremely happy lives. i've got ordinary countless in my life and that i'm able to rather say that they have got been plenty happier than lots of the unaffected babies i recognize. they're additionally very loving. My mum knows a Downs lady in her previous due Nineteen Twenties who's rather an actress and has her own residence. i might propose you seek advice from a counsellor in the previous doing something drastic as they're independent and would grant some rather sturdy advice. to boot to this, you ought to pass and spot your physician and discover out what looking after a new child with Downs easily is composed of. on the tip of the day, this remains your toddler. Abortion isn't some thing to be taken gently and would reason you everlasting psychological harm. in case you settle directly to proceed with your being pregnant, no count if it rather is confusing or not, you will comply with having a new child who desires a touch greater desirable care. i'm hoping you be able to be triumphant in a determination which you're pleased with and choose you all the main suitable for the destiny.

I think after 18 years of sonos, she can pretty much tell. My son was OBVIOUSLY a boy. I mean, she got clear images on mine. We saw the scrotum and penis perfectly. The female labia in utero is huge, but nothing like a penis. The errors found in those 8% are from miscalculated due dates and not clear pics on sono. At 22 weeks, the genitalia are pretty much done being formed. All babies start as girls but boys transition to boys after. (the penis forms, not saying they have ovaries and such lol). At 22 weeks, this has already happened. As long as your baby measured on time and your dates are correct, you can believe it.

There is a 5-10% error rate with sex prediction by sonogram, but that is with ONE.
If you have had 3 with all the same results-I think it's safe to say it's correct.

It happens sometimes, usually if the baby is in a bad position or has their legs crossed. If you got and open leg shot and don't see anything I would trust it. Otherwise I would mostly trust her experience, but keep the tags on most the clothes just in case.

i had a scan that said I'm having a boy, I'm going back in January to check hes still a little fella!!!
i was told its more likely to be wrong if you get told a girl but the lady who did your scan is very experienced and i would go with what she has told you.
i saw my sons winky and balls yet i still have doubts i think till they are born we will always have the " what if they have got it wrong " feeling
