Cigarette burns can actually be sanded away with sandpaper. There will usually be a few fibers that are black, however, and will remain. Remove these fibers with scissors. If there is still a small stain or gap evident, snip a small amount of fibers from an inconspicuous area and glue them into the gap. The only person that will know is you.

You can try spot cleaning that area and removing as much of the burned fiber as possible. Cut out any remaining carpet fibers with a little scissor. Blow dry the section with a hairdryer and replace the carpet fibers using small pieces from an area which doesn't show such as in a closet or in a corner. Just clip some fibers and use a fabric glue carefully to replace. When dry take a small brush to blend with the rest of the carpet. Best wishes.

Have you got any carpet remnants of the same color? Trim lightly around the burn area, then take a little clipping from the remnant and using a fabric glue at the ends, stick them on. This requires a steady hand (tweezers are useful) and patience. After it's set, trim the new fibres you've put in to match the length of the rest of the carpet. You won't want to hoover over that part for a few days. Good luck!

find a closet and pull or cut a tiny bit of the carpet fibers and use a glue gun or super glue and tweezers to put them in the burned area. After it dries, use scissors and even out the patch.

if it isnt a really deep burn, put carpet cleaner on it and then get steel wool and scrub it. it will remove the black parts. dont scrub too much or u will get down to the pad of the carpet.

If you live in UK and have "New for Old" insurance you are entitled to a new carpet. Dont be fobbed off with an offer of compensation. If combustion has taken place then its classed as a fire and you can make a claim.

you need some of the same material to cover or disguise the burn. so from an out-of-the-way area cut what you need to fill the prepared spot where the burn is located. you'll need a good glue to tack down the patch.

hope this meets your need

you shouldnt be smoking in the first place---

just kidding... not really... depending on what it is you can get a needle and try to seperate some of the fibers so it blends in better... good luck

Hmm I have absolutly no experience with cigg burns, but if it's white maybe bleach? Lol. All I can say is scrub scrub scrub until it fades, and perhaps some baking soda.

Hope that helps.
