We were going to name my daughter Cadance Yvonne so I do like that name. Her nickname would be Cady... you know Cad+y.. cheesy, but my mom is Katherine Yvonne and called Katy growing up. But alas we named her Justin b/c she turned out to be a boy. :) Maddie is ok if it is short for Madison. And Nettie sounds like a nickname too, not a name. Like Annette and called Nettie. I mean, if you imagine your child as a lawyer, do you really want Maddie such and such on the plate on the door frame?
The boys names are cool. Mason is alright. I can't think of a nickname for that, but you don't really need one. Merrick is alright. Not my favorite because the kids might call him Merry. Or Merrick the prick when he's older. Or another word that rhymes with rick. Ya know what I mean.

But hey, its your child. You asked for my opinion and I gave it. Sometimes you have to wait for the child to be born and get a look at em before you name them. Like we chose Justin and my son literally came out the spitting image of his father. Now we wished we made him a JR because he's like my husband's mini-me. It'll become clear which name grows on you more by the time you need to sign the birth certificate.

Cadence I see as a boys name, Maddie sounds like its short for Madelyn or Madison, Nettie sounds like little house on the prairie crap. Love Mason! merrick in my opinion sounds like a bad grade.

You really need people on here to reassure what you want to name you child?why?
When you hit the right name, you'll know, trust me, or else, trust
your intuition.
