Where's the coolest bar in San Antonio, TX. ?

As far as above...only remember that Bonham's is a gay bar, so it may not be cool for you to go to if you are straight, but some very good looking people go there. Wednesday night is straight night, but a lot of gays still go there that night. Let me put it this way...San Antonio is not San Francisco. Most people are very conservative and do not accept gay folk, so Bonham's a fun place to go to, but remember you are there to have fun if you are straight and may not meet another straight or may.

I personally like Blue Star Arts especially on the First Friday of the Month. It's on Alamo St. They make their own beer, too and First Friday means great art and great music for everyone! And, don't forget the great beer and food.

The best bar to go to is The Bonham Exchange just behind the Alamo. Especially on Saturdays. $1.75 ANYTHING in the house till 11pm. After 11 they have $1.75 well drinks. Give it a try.

South Side bars tend to be a bit dangerous. I would go a little further north and check out the downtown hotels. I think one of the best is Polo's at the Fairmount Hotel.

There are a lot of good bars on the north side, but you might want to aim for sports bars if you want a better class and less dangerous crowd.

if you're into sports of any kind or playing pool...visit Stacy's Sports bar on Blanco Road (or Rittiman@ Harry Wurzbach). I think wenesday's are stil lingerie night for the wait staff! Enjoy!

Define "coolest". I like Bogart's on Culebra for karaoke and Legends on 410 near Marbach for live music, pool, and darts.
