I guess the best answer to this is it depends. If you are not very far along (just a few days after a missed period) then it could give you a false negitive. The hgc levels are highest in the urine in the morning (you have been storing them all night) and so will give you the earliest positive, but any time of the day will give you a positive eventually as you get further along.

Just remember, no matter how faint that second line is, even if you barely see it, that is a positive. And if it comes up positve, it is almost always right. False positves are possible but EXTEREMELY RARE.

Good luck.

The best kind of pregnancy test s are the ones from the dollar store for only a dollar they are best in value, and are really great for sensativity. They are more sensative then alot of other brands and have less problems too. If you buy a few and get mixed results such as one positive and one negative then it is very smart to go to the doctor and find out. It is better to get the blood test then if you do that though. The reason you may get mixed results is becasuse even in the same brand of pregnancy tests they also have different sensitivities too. The best time to take a test is in the morning because there will be more HCG in your urine and this is what you will be testing for. If it is not early in the morning and you just want to take a test then at least hold your bladder, dont go to the bathroom, for at least 3-4 hours and then test. This will have given enough time for the HCG to build up and give accurate results. GOOD luck hope all goes well.

no. you can take it any time of the day. the reason it is recommended to take it in the morning is because your urine is more concentrated after sitting all night. so, if you take the test very early in the pregnancy, you have the best chance of having enough hormone in the urine, and the urine not being diluted in the morning. however, if you aren't drinking gallons of fluids and you don't pee for a few hours.. go ahead and take it during the day. however, if you can take it in the morning, just do it then... that way you have no questions

Some kits say no, but personally I say yes. The HGC hormone builds up in the urine your bladder has been holding all night, so the concentration is higher on the first urination of the day...providing you are a normal shifter, if not, just when you wake up no matter the time of day.
Good luck! HTH

It is not a must but The hCG hormone that shows you if you are pregnant or not is more concentrated in the morning since you have not used the restroom more at least 8 hours or more.

it's not a "must" to take it first thing in the morning. but the pee is the most concentrated in the morning after a night of... not peeing. you can take one during the day and see... or you could just wait til the morning.

If you are testing a few days before a missed period, it's best to do it first thing. Otherwise, just do it anytime of the day.
