The set of two numbers or things, combined with the set of two numbers or things. When I say combined, I could mean the union of the two sets. Might I also mean the intersection of the two sets?

Starting at the position of having two objects, or two amounts of something, we could count two more objects further, or add two more amounts of that something.

If two is a place, or a marker on a line, a path, or if two represents a line on a field or a plane, then one can visualize advancing to places on the line, path, or moving the line as much as the length of that line from a point we have designated zero place.

2 + 2 = 4 (normal base 10 addition)

2 + 2 = 10 (base 4)

2 + 2 = [2][2] (when you stack two number plates together)

Four. Unless you are adding two sets of triplets together then it would be six.

Or two pairs of quads, then it would be eight.

Hope that helps!
