Do you agree with me that whereas men tend to create avatars which actually resemble themselves accurately, women are more likely to choose ones which are more-attractive versions of themselves? For example, an avatar may have gorgeous, huge eyes, but its owner has a couple of pin-pricks. I may have to create a website with photos of avatars and their owners. Email yours to me.

Not necessarily. First off, you only have six faces to choose from, none of them with pin pricks for eyes. All the eyes tend to be large on all of the faces. Also I think men are just as guilty, as you never see any of the guys with bad skin or facial hair because it isn't offered. I also wouldn't say for sure that someone's avatar does or doesn't look like them, because I have never seen these people in person. I don't know them. For the record, my avatar actually comes pretty close to the real me.

Maybe that's why some people choose not to have an avatar. Who cares anyway? I wouldn't worry to much about it since it's just for fun.
