I definitely wore the pants in my last relationship but my significant other wears the pants in my current relationship. I like it that way.
However, no I am not a doormat. Just because I don't wear the pants doesn't mean that he wipes his feet all over me. I'm not dead or stupid.

There is usually one stronger personality in any relationship otherwise it just doesn't work. I think in a long term relationship such as marriage, that ball gets thrown in both parks depending on what is going on in their lives at the time. My husband is terrific in many aspects, as well as I. He is the boss with regard to many issues and I am in other areas.
