I love darn near any movie with Jim Carrey. You just can't go wrong with truly enjoying somebody who is really as down-to-earth as he is. Everybody else is so superficial, and he grew up, living a portion of his life in his car. But nevertheless, to answer the question, I have to agree with Liar Liar.

I am a really big Jim Carrey fan, so it's really hard for me to choose!
I really like the Grinch movie, and the Ave Ventura movie. But yea, Liar Liar was his first like 'serious' movie.

I haven't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yet, but remember now that the previews made it sound very interesting. I have enjoyed Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar and Lemony Snickets, but my favorite so far is The Truman Show.

It would have to be "Liar Liar". It's funny but so close to home that it's kinda scary to think if that really could happen to you. I mean all of us want to do what's right and will go to just about any lenght to spare others feelings, the truth hurts, this movie just let's you see how many small lies can hurt people but in an up beat kinda way.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Man on the Moon. I'm still confused as to how he could have won a Golden Globe and then not even be nominated for an Oscar.
I am also really looking forward to 23.
