i have the same thing, just in my lower legs and feet. i was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. its when the nerve endings are dying. you have a burning sensation and numbness. you need to see your doctor. it does get worse. im taking 3- 80mg of Oxycontin a day. and it helps.

Are you taking niacin. If you take too much at a time it will cause hives, redness and a burning sensation. With my fibromyalgia, I have a burning in parts of my body, and like little creatures crawling under my skin. The tingling and burning really gets on your nerves, it's like you are trying to break out of your skin.

That depends on what caused it.
You may need to go to the hospital if your developing blisters and finding it hard to break.
