Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and all enzymes are proteins, but not every protein is an enzyme.

Amino acids are the basic elements that are assembled in the ribosome, golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum into proteins. Proteins are much larger than individual amino acids. Each protein has a specific shape and charge that allow it to perform some specific function or functions. Enzymes are also proteins. However, all enzymes are proteins, not all proteins are enzymes. Enzymes are proteins that are used as catalysts with molecular interactions (usually in a cell). Because they are catalysts, they are not consumed in the reaction so they can go and perform the same function on another set of molecules.

Well, I believe that enzymes are proteins that act as catalysts and amino acids are the components, or building blocks of proteins.

Structure gives rise to function. In other word, sequences of amino acid is the backbone of protein and enzyme is a functional protein with catalytic activity, it can also be refered to as a globular protein because of the spherical shape.

look, remember all enzymes are protein but all proteins r not enzymes,it means that all enzymes are a kind of protein but they hav some specific functions so we call them enzymes ok
and proteins are made up of amino acids it means that amino acids link in diff ways to form proteins so is it clear that amino acids link to form protein and sume proteins are caled enzymes

an enzyme(eg. protease) acts on the protein and breaks it down into amino acid(simple subtances) :D
