The creative process begins with an idea. Virtually every idea has already been explored in some for or another, so research your subject matter in depth, then decide on an outlet for your creativity. Even the simplest of things lend themselves to artistic ability. For example, look at the coke can sitting next to you. Instead of seeing it as a coke, look at whats in it, and try to imagine the results of the ingredients.....i see a fat guy sitting at the computer answering questions about creativity, while his teeth slowly rot....or maybe a corporate giant selling flavored water laced with an addicting drug to an unsuspecting public, or maybe a million people sharing the same coke habbit. Write the idea down, then put it on paper.

Use your imagination, to became creative you need to be inspired, listen to music while making your master piece, collect or cut pictures from magazine that you like,have a scrap book or a clear book, always spend time to see those pictures, so as to trigger your imagination,also emotion plays along so you have to be positive always, attitude must be maintain as to have a good outcome of your masterpiece, share or show your work with your enthusiastic friends, have a critic on your work, like in my case, its my ol mother,read also about the life of the masters in art do this as supplemental.

I suggest studying the works of the ancient masters:

Giotto, da Vinci, Comatue, the art going back to the era of the Merovingians through to the Carolingians and Charlemagne. Abrecht Durer, the founder of Renaissance style watercolour.
Antonello de Messina perfected the original oil painting style created by Jan van Eyck.

Visit an art gallery, be inspired by nature, travel someplace you've never been before. Look at art magazines or National geographic.

if you want instant results though it is illegal and nor would i do it or think that you should. but an acid trip would work....... or you can try creative writing to grow your creative skills

Try to express yourself by drawing or painting and imagine things like there is no end. Dance and enjoy your life.
