Yes. My sisters told me to always walk into a room like I own it when I was very little. But, once I am in the room, I find a corner and sit quietly. I am painfully shy. But, I appear very confident.

I have a certain level of confidence. That's for sure. Do I wanna own a room? Gosh, that's not what I'm after. I really dislike seeing the women that need that. I want to walk into a room and people smile and wave me over... to feel like I belong. Not to feel that I own. I do much better being a part OF.... not being the leader OF. So I walk into a room with purpose and with question. As I see the people I adore.... I relax and fall into the rythym that has already been established in the room.

I walk into a room with great posture and a pleasant demeanor. I don't have the "diva ownership" quality but I'm no wallflower.

I walk into a room like I own it. If you walk in that way less people are going to try to run you over. Know what I mean?

I always try to walk into a room with confidence, but not like I'm the most important person there. I'm not conceited, and I don't think that I'm better than anyone else, but I know I deserve as much respect as anyone else.

Always! Never the wallfower, but sometimes I like to sit back at a party, and just watch people interact with each other..You'd be amazed at the things you can learn about people you think you know this way!

I am remarkably adaptable.
I can appear to own the venue, or I can be invisible.
But I do own the room, whether I am seen or not.
