Occasionally, and then I generally burn them. I do have one kept, so that I will never forget that one incident. That letter is even in a fireproof safe. One unresolved grudge that size isn't bad for fifty years.

Sometimes. It's kind of like writing in a journal. I know I will never give the letter to the person, but it's an easy way to get all of my anger out. I always feel so much better after.

I haven't written letters in over 20 years, since I first learned how to type - I still write in a fluent cursive script, but I do not write anything of any great length. Even my manuscripts and short stories are all done on a word processor. I'm not even sure if they still teach children how to write in cursive anymore, I heard somewhere that it is no longer even required, which I think is a shame.

In high school and middle school I did that ALOT. Now I don't because I dont really have time to write letters, and also, I know that I won't ever give them to the person so I just don't bother.

How Sage Francis ;)

No.... I actually don't. Remember me? Little miss confrontational. ;) I write letters...and I send them. This is probably why I lose friends from time to time. If I'm upset.... I let them know. *sigh* If only they could realize that I sent the letters because I love them so... because I miss them... because i wanted us to make it right. When you stop and look at someone's intent..... it should seem so logical. *sigh* But alas.... we don't live in a logical world. (But that's for another question I'm sure. ;) )

Yes. I have never been asked this before.
I write letters when I am angry, then tear them up when it subsides.
I write letters when I am hurt, simply to get my emotion out.
Lastly, I write letters when I love...they allow me to express what I cannot always say.

I have a tearstained soul poured four page and written letter to my dad I never sent. The pain is immense.

No, I hardly ever write letters anymore. I use email.

Let me guess, this question originated from a Moody Blues song, huh?
