You right click on your desk top, go to arrange icons and unclick auto arrange and align to grid. Then you can do what ever you want to your desk top.

right click on your desktop and select "arrange Icons by". Make sure there's no check next to Auto arrange.

right click on the desktop , ensure autoarrange is not selected and then autogrid is also not selected and then manually arrange the icons as desired.

you can click and drag the ones you want to move, but as soon as you hit the arrange icons tab all the Icons will go back.

just Right click on the Desktop.............. in those option select Arrange Icons By option...................in that Menu uncheck the Auto Arrange option.......... now Click and Drag the icon u need and place it any were in the Desktop.................................
