Scientific studies have shown that people are born gay and do not 'choose' or 'turn' gay.

Hi,
This is a proven fact. You are never born gay. That means you turned gay not by yourself, but by the atmosphere or the condition of your living.
Like for example, you are a boy, your mother or somebody else bought for you a doll or something "girly". And in turn you will find out that being soft towards your surroundings is not a problem, you may turn into a gay. This doesn't mean it is your parents who turned you gay! Don't blame your parents.

Frankly, the question is irrelevent. Some assert they are born gay, while others accuse them of making a choice. Perhaps they were born that way, perhaps they made a choice. It has no bearing on the rights and respect they deserve. We're all people, and we should all treat each other as such. Being gay, choice or not, makes you no more or less of a person than a child born blind or someone who chooses to be a doctor.

I don't think you are born gay or straight.
I think you are born to judge people on their individual merits & then society screws that up & you judge people on their genitals. Yep, way to eliminate half the population as potential partners.
Also, I find that 60 minutes thing to be a load of bullshit.
Why does acting like a girl = gay???
Sure you may end up being gay, but that iis becuase sociiety is going "you like pink, you must be gay", "you like hairdressing you must be gay" until it is just easier to be gay & to be accepted, rather than to be an effeminate straight man.
Gender roles are not inbuilt. Girls do not have a "liking dolls" gene, so why is it assumed that not following SOCIETAL norms = a genetic condition???
Oh, & some gay people act & sit differently. Oh, you know, maybe that's because they socialise with other gay people where that is the SOCIETAL norm.
Oh & there's a "feminising" of the brain. Hmm, that couldn't be because of society, no? Well, people who learn to play string instruments DEVELOP more in the section of the brain that relates to finger dexterity, meaning that what you do effects how your brain develops.

60 Minutes did a special on this very topic.
Here is the video clip. I found it very interesting and compelling.
Everyone has an opionion, but look at the findings, not just the gossiping neighbors opinions'.
Check it out. I think it may be the latest finding on this very topic.
Here's the link:

I should said, life experience does influence/affects one's thought to become one. Whereby to some certain extend transgender probably feels that they are born with it. Theres a lot of living case studies of those transgender.
For me, I would say, my childhood and life experience does brought part of me to be who am I now. Is a matter of able to step out of the "norms circles" and having more alternate choices in life.
Am speaking from my own. :)

I have known two of my mates since we were very little and they were definitely born gay! I think some people have the straight factor drummed into them so maybe they don't realise until they are older.
