First of: To "MARTIN" - if you don't care about the Camaro, why are you even typing in here? Two words: BUGGER OFF
Whoever you are, you rock! SLP Loudmouth sounds awesome! And you want more!!!
There's not a whole lot you can do legally, but the easiest thing to do would be to replace the muffler itself with a section of straight pipe. I know this sounds crazy, but on modern vehicles with catalytic converters, there is actually quite of bit of "muffling" (at least at light throttle) through the converters themselves. On my (former) 5.0 mustang, this is exactly what I did after seeing someone else's and not bothering to buy an expensive cat-back system. I was very pleased, and it sounded great when you got on it and not too loud when you didn't.
On my (former) '88 Corvette I did the opposite. I removed the catalytic converter (actually the whole exhaust) and put on an "off-road" system with no cats, but I ran Flowmaster mufflers and it was totally awesome.
DO NOT TRY TO RUN WITHOUT ONE OR THE OTHER!! It'll hurt your ears from the driver's seat (not to mention you'll be pulled over in seconds).
In your case, I would probably just get the muffler cut out and straight pipe and keep you catalyst pipe, because this would be cheaper and easier, and you'd still be emissions compliant although maybe not noise ordinance compliant. On the 5.0 mustang that worked well; I don't know how much nosier it might be on the Camaro but they are a little noisier to being with than the old 5.0s.
I'm surprised you're not satisfied with the Loudmouth; I think they sound great and want one. But, to each his/her own. How I do love the V8 sound and understand wanting more!!!
Good luck!

Well I would say put some Glasspack mufflers on there if you want to stay (sort of) legal. The new Cherry Bombs are gunna be cool. In fact they have a bunch of new exaust mufflers coming out in an attempt to re enter the exaust market. If u dont mind being completely illiegal, gust take the mufflers off. It sounds pretty damn sweet. Also, to the guy that said cats muffle your exaust note, thats not really true. IM not saying the dont do SOMETHING, but relaly with cats on or off, when u run a car on the dyno ther is virtually no change, meaning that they barely, if any, restrict exaust flow. Also a set of headers should free up some horse power, torque, and loudness. Good luck long live the muscle car.

It's probably plenty loud already. I know that most cars like that are much louder outside than they are inside. The best thing to do would be to have someone else drive past you full throttle and see if you like the sound of the car from outside. It's not really worth it to make it totally loud all the time and get tickets for it.
Another option would be to look in JC Whitney and look for exhaust cut-outs. They are cable operated from inside the car, and they are like a flapper. In one position they send exhaust back through the exhaust system, but when you pull the cable they more the flappers and direct the exhaust out the sides of the car, which would be very loud. You can probably do it all yourself between those and some extension pipes from a muffler shop for under $75.

I am a proud owner of a 01 Camaro SS with SLP Loudmouth exhaust. If you are really looking for more sound, get some SLP Loudmouth Headers and Magnaflow Hi-Flow Catalytic Converters. I know the headers are mighty expensive but it's really worth it! That'll really make your car real real loud! I wouldn't do the glasspacks because they really restrict the exhaust flow.

You could take a saw to your exhaust manifold. Cut it just before the catalytic converter. It doesn't get louder than that. It's not legal, but you didn't ask about that.

Where I live, it's illegal to modify a vehicle to make it louder, so you're might be risking a ticket with that.

Its what we did way back when...(I dont know if they even make that anymore...hmmm)..
I wish you well..
