Class reunions are SO not worth it!

In my class of 93 graduates, I heard approximately 32 people went to the 10 year reunion. Those who went said all the "cool" people weren't there and it sucked. That's how lame my school was.

Never went. When I was a kid, I had a disease in my knees, so I was stuck in the library with other "disabled" kids, and we got teased all the time.

Not only that, but one of my best friends lost her hearing very young, so we all learned sign language to communicate, and boy can other kids be mean! Other kids mimicked us signing to each other.

So, a reunion would only be a bad idea for me because now that I'm older, I'm a lot different, and I wouldn't stand there and put up with it anymore.

I think it all depends on what you're looking for..is it the feeling you've made it (and the desire to express it to everyone) or is it to visit with long lost friends, or is it to compare yourself to everyone..and hope that you come out ahead of some.

I guess a reunion can serve it's purpose on all of the previous motivations..however..in the end it is only most rewarding if you truly care about the people you will visit with there.

I know some people that actually went to theirs and no they were not impressed.
plus they usually charge A LOT of money to get in. The last invitation I saw, the class was charging $90 a person to get into the event. I really don't think its worth it. Go and stand outside of it, and say hi to people you want to see :)

don't plan on ever going to any kind of class reunion because people will be doing "perfomance acts" and i don't like fake people

Yes and - No. The girls remembered me as a "hottie", and the disappointment was there on their faces.
