If we understand consciousness/awareness we will know that this illuminates everything in the world.
Consciousness is like a sun shining within us , all the time, that illuminates . Ignorance is like cloud that (seems to) obscure the awareness( sun). If ignorance is removed by knowledge you perceive the world better.
So, an external knowledge is internally illuminated and recorded. It is a joint , instantaneous operation.

Good question!
What I understand of knowledge, it can not come from within..... there has to be an external input right now, or stored within us having received earlier, in the form of information ...... yes, information is turned into knowledge within our own system. Understanding and realisation are purely internal processes whereas knowledge is based on information which has to be an external input received now or earlier.
However, if one differentiates between information and knowledge instead of assuming that information gets converted into knowledge, then we can say that all knowledge arises within our system whereas all information comes from outside. Even then... 'arises within' describes it properly and 'comes from within' does not seem to give the right perspective of how knowledge is acquired.

I think so, to an extent. The Socratic approach to teaching demonstrates this, I believe. But I'm not smart, so I could be wrong. I certainly don't think that all knowledge can come from within, but I think our brains can do a lot more than most of us use them for.

No for sure we have different kinds of knowledge one i can say innate knowledege;this is the knowledge that one is born with. Two we have the acquired knowledge its that of school going.
To get knowledge, one have to use his inner and out faculities i mean we have:the outer faculities thats :the eyes for seeing, ears for listening, smell, toutch and taste. On the other hand we have the inner capacities that we can use to acquire knowledge thats common faculity, imagination, memory, comprehension and thought.
Without outward perseption one cant at large get knowledge for example ;we see a car and this is taken by the common faculity which takes it to imagination its connected to the thoughts which takes it to the comprehension and is put to memories and stored to our minds.
So the main point is that it came from the outward existance.
Have a nice day!

We'll never know for sure. If you never had any enviromental influence you'd never know how to communicate what you may or may not have experienced from innate sources.
I tend to like the empiricists view. Of course instincts are not really Knowledge and 2+2=4 is just the relationship of ideas

Our computer-brain works on a dualistic basis.
In a usual daily life all we do is done logically,
under an influence of our feelings.
We don,t make any discovers.
On the other hand, in a religious practice
we learn to perceive and to operate:
1) Without the participation of the sense organs.
2) Without the participation of the logic mental processes.
When these conditions will be created, then
we will acquire new forces, new abilities.
We make new discovers.

The ancient Sages who had visions said, knoledge is not something that's coming from somewhere else and planted. Its something like fire coverd with ashes ... or can be called covered with ignorance .... something like thorn removing a thorn ... or like the wind blazing away the ashes covered to show the real Fire within, when the outward actions blazes the ashes away probably the Fire is found within ....

yes, but not much, in that almost everything you learn from yourself is typically influenced by something outside of you. The bulk of the data is external, all of the organizing and making decisions relative to what you learn is from within. When you think of it though, even the way we process information is most likely related to influences during our "younger" years, like parents, relatives, teachers, and friends.

Knowledge is learned.... something that is taught.....
What comes from within is called wisdom.... it needs no formal training on how to understand......
