ok i got hd cables and ordinalry cables for xbox 360 and i have and ordinary tv standard tv do i use hd cables or use av cable and will hd cables work on ordinary tv for the (yellow red white)
please tell me and explain it carefully step by step im confuesd

use ordinary av cables. red goes to red, white to white and yellow to yellow. Red and White is the audio I/O and the yellow one is for video.

Well HD cables have more than 3 cables for it so whatever how many plug ins ur TV has put that much, hence the name High Definition cables, you need a HDTV for that.

No, HD cables will not work. HD cables are also called component video cables. The video signal is split between three separate cables and then you have your left and right audio cables. "Ordinary" video connections just has the one video cable (the yellow) and the left and right audio.
