Today I was in EB games and i noticed the difference. The wii has cutting edge gaming with the controller you can use to w/e game you play and i was playing Zelda and using your sword you actually swung the controller and it was very cool the only big thing is graphics there like game cube not the greatest and some of their games seem more little kid to me. I acctually own an Xbox 360 and i love it the graphics, game play and they have xbox marketplace where you can download game demos before you buy them i really recommend a 360 because the games are more older instead of Zelda being the best game the console offers. The Wii is really cool but i, personally would get an Xbox. : ]

I think Microsoft jumped the gun and they might pay for it hard.
In their hurry for a headstart, their products had a lot of design flaws and overheated. They also miscalculated the market by releasing a greater number of basic model 360's, when everyone wanted the upgraded model. They could have corrected all that and still had a six month headstart, which is still almost too much.
But more than that, there is nothing that's really breakthrough about the platform. The Wii is innovative and the PS3 is cutting edge, and with all that time for the novelty of the 360 to fade, it seems almost generic by comparison. Now, I'm not trying to insult or downplay the 360. It's a solid graphical machine and XBox live will carry it a very long way.
I don't really think either is better or worse, it's apples and oranges to me. But, I belive that Nintendo will retake the silver medal for market share.

Use the search, and this is exactly the question I think to myself every single day since the week before this...
The 360 has a whole library of games, and it's kind of old the console itself.. So if your a new player who has money to spend and parents who are also into gaming. Get the 360 since it's getting old and it has amazing games you don't want to miss out.. Yet it seems old but it's going to be new again when Halo 3 and Halo Wars come out...
The Wii is cheap, yet the games for it isn't as big as the 360s... A console is only what its games are.. Without the games the console is worthless, without the console, there be no game. (Quote me on this one... I made it up.. Just this minute.. I think..)
The Wii console seems extremely fun, easy, and cheap/affordable. Yet the games like I said isn't as big as the 360, no Halo or Gears of War, or 6,000 games to play from... And I'm also hearing that the Wii is being turned down by developers due to the motion sensing, but every console has it's own faults and not every promise is guaranteed...
Well it's late, sorry I couldn't finish.

I was a fan of Nintendo around 10 years ago. I really enjoyed the nintendo gamecube, It was my favorite console for a few years. I liked playing Mario cart, donkey kong games, and many others. The times have changed in my mind the xbox is way better then nintendo, I don't even know if I have my gamecube anymore. I use my xbox occasionally, a few times every week. I mostly play call of duty on it, I enjoy the call of duty series been playing them since the first one came out a few years ago. The xbox controller seems to fit my hand a lot better then the gamecube's did I like that. The graphics seem to be much better on the xbox, also they have online play. The problem with the gamecube you couldn't play online with your friends, on the xbox you can. It makes a pretty big difference to me, it's more enjoyable to play a game with my friends then to play alone. Lastly the xbox still has games being released for it while gamecube games are starting to rise in value because they haven't been made in so long. Just recently I went to a game exchange buy, sell, and trade games. I saw Mario cart was $50 more expensive them when I bought it 10 years ago. A few xbox games can be purchased for only a bit of money, its great to spend less. The xbox takes the win, Nintendo can't compete in my mind.

I even have the two. yet in my view, my boyfriend and that i take advantage of the Xbox 360 plenty extra. We have been given the Wii because of the large destroy Bro's popping out next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days .. yet different than that and a few tennis suits right here and there. we are extra into the Xbox 360. in case you choose to play the video games inclusive of first guy or woman shooters (halo, gears of conflict, call of accountability) get the Xbox 360 reason you will no longer discover any of those video games on the Wii. Wii video games have .. as a rule RPGs like Mario, Sonic, that one .. Rabbit activity (idk what its called), and stuff like that. wish that helps!!!
