Hasselbeck is definitely warming up to something good as of late. Roethlisberger isn't playing like he even deserves to be in the NFL. Then again, both of these guys are capable of big games out of nowhere.

It seems that Rothlisberger's timing has been off since his motorcycle accident. I think his reaction time is down and he's holding onto the football a bit too long and getting nailed by defenses. That said this is the week to start him. Tampa's defense is tied with Washington as last in the NFL in sacks with 14 all season. Tampa is also tied for giving up the most passing touchdowns in the NFL with 21 as well as tied for worst in the NFL with only 5 interceptions. Hasselbeck on the other hand is going up against Denver who has given up an average of just 15 points a game and 8 of the 14 touchdowns they have allowed have been through the air. If it was against an average defense you should start Hasselbeck, but since Rothlisberger has a great match up and Hasselbeck has a tough match up, you definitely need to start Big Ben.

Big Ben honestly isn't even a good QB. He served his purpose last year, but he still had the Bus to take the load off him. Cowher only allows him to throw between 15-20 times a game because he knows he's not good. You also have to take into consideration that Hines Ward will be out this game too...he was the sure fire dumpoff pass guy.
Hasselbeck is warming up and his injury isn't on his throwing hand. The focus will be on Alexander in the beginning of the game which will allow it to open the passing game up. Start Hasselbeck.
