I've come to the conclusion that if someone has made an avatar using the embedded one yahoo provides, it is based on their mood at the time. I too have noticed the tears, so one can assume they're sad- I could be wrong though, just an observation.

Because an avaitor is a reflection of that person, and that person may be crying, or depressed.
