I know and my friend (who grew up in a different state) about a girl in high school who got a hot dog stuck up her vagina and had to go to the ER to remove it. I am wondering how many other people heard or know of someone doing this.

Seriously, my friend told me the same story.
We lived in a VERY small town and were walking past
our history teacher's house (we were in third grade and
it was 1983) and he told me his brother heard that she
had been in the hospital for getting a hot dog stuck in her
vagina.
Hot dogs are the envy of every decent american male!
I loved my history teacher... damn hot dog... thinking it was
better than me!

As gross as it sounds, yes I went to high school with a girl who did this. Embarrasing for her I know. So not really an urban myth, just a stupid thing to do.
Can you even imagine having to tell the people in the ER, that you have a hotdog there? Mortifying!

I'm sure its happened, in this case. A friend of mine is an OB/GYN, she has removed, among other things, the head of an electric toothbrush from a young teen. If people are using electric toothbrushes, I gotta think some people are trying hot dogs, etc.

haha EW. I have never heard that myth. But it IS a myth theres no way it can get stuck up there...at least..i wouldnt think so. Its like so slippery so I dont see how that could be an issue. but maybe...hahaha who knows. Im 90% sure its a myth though...

This sounds like a myth to me. As does the popsicle story. As far as the vagina goes, if it goes in it will probably come out.
One nasty thing that *dd* happen to someone oI know id getting a tampon way up there. She didn;t know until the smell clued her in and she went to the gyno....

It is not an urban myth. I work in a hospital, and people stick everything inside themselves from veges to hair spray cans. i guess they are trying to get a cheap thrill.

seems like hotdogs and russians are a big turn on for high school girls. there was a girl in my school who did it and her boyfriend told some people who told some people ect. he had to write a 1000 word "i m sorry for spreading rumors" and read it during assembly. so yes heard of this.
