It is simply for stimulation, mainly for females. The problem with those condoms( no matter the brand ) is that the dots (or studs) may take some more friction, rather that displacing is across the rest of the condom..... They tend to break more often than normal condoms! Trojans are my brand. Be careful and have fun!

Do you mean studded? will the lumpy bits on the outerside of the condom? if you do, this is pleasurable for the women ... or men for that matter? They are fantastic!!
