Underrated every lineman that helps these running backs reach the NFL....Overrated, Brady Quinn who led his team to 2 horrible losses and a couple games that needed late comebacks to win.

Underrated - Garrett Wolfe, Northern Illinois. He easily leads the nation in rushing with a total of 1900 yards (about 160 yards/game). Granted most of that was against lackluster MAC teams, but in the first game of the season he racked up 287 all-purpose yards...against OHIO STATE, by far the most yards given up by OSU's defense to any one player, RB or otherwise, all season. So while he doesn't necessarily deserve a whole lot of Heisman talk, he should certainly be getting more national attention than he's getting now.
Overrated - Brady Quinn, Notre Dame. The fact that he is being talked about as a Heisman candidate is a joke. If you don't believe me, just go back and watch the Michigan game from back in September, it's hilarious (I'm sure you can find something on YouTube somewhere).

Underrated: Paul Thompson. Everyone thought OU's season was over when Bomar was kicked off the team, but Thompson has been incredible even after spending last season plus the spring at WR. He's a true team player and a great leader for a team that has overcome a lot this year.
Overrated: Brady Quinn. Had great stats against the really weak teams filling up their schedule, and tanked against the two good teams they played all year.

Underrated - Dan Conner OLB at Penn State. He plays next to
All American Paul Posluzny. His stats are almost
identical. Posluzny brike the PSU career record for
tackles. Dan Conner is currently on pace to break
that record again next year. He is overshadawed .
Overrated - John David Booty, the same as Matt Leinart before
him. The entire team is made up of the highest level
recruits. All of them combine for a great team.
The media's ignorance results in all the credit going
to the QB. The real reason for USC's success this
year is a combination of another year of weak
PAC 10 competition and a very fast defense.

Underrated: John David Booty
He took over after sitting behind Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart for the last few years, and is now the leader of the USC team. His wins may not always be pretty, but he always wins(except for Oregon State). Also, he was given a team without Reggie Bush and Lendale White.
Overrated: Brady Quinn
He was able to pad his stats against USC, after USC had the game in the bag, and was playing their 3rd string defense. NIIICE!

whoever says quinn is overrates knows nothing about football and obiously didn't watch any games...quinn has better stats vs like opponents than troy smith, disregarding michigan which weis even said the recievers werent running the right routes. His numbers weren't good against usc but if you watched the game you'd know that nd recievers couldnt catch a pass.
Quinn IS the best player in college football..he very rarely make bad desicions and a lot of his picks this season were on tipped balls
