I've recently reached my provincial age of majority, while unbeknownst to me, I've had various on-going active stocks controlled by my parents since I was 15. How do I re-seize control? I've recently legally renounced kinship with all members of my family.

It may be difficult, especially if the stocks were not held in a "gift to minor" account. Your parents, obviously the ones who contributed the money to purchase the securities, may have had the certificates re-issued, deleting your name.

If it was held in a "gift" account, find out what bank or broker holds the account, prove that you are who you say you are, and are "emancipated", and you should have no problem in acquiring the assets.
