From the perspective of a spectator that has watched them through the years, I am glad that Houston Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy has relented and finally allowed young players to have decent minutes on his team.
Van Gundy is notorious for preferring veteran players to rookies. Currently, Van Gundy has inserted forward Chuck Hayes and shooting forward Steve Novak into the starting lineup along with All-Stars Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady. Added to the mix is Mr. reliable Shane Battier.
I expect the Rockets to make the playoffs without much difficulty if they can just be more consistent during fourth quarters wherein they have a tendency to relinquish their big leads to their opponents.
Hope this helps.

Yao is dominating. Averaging over 20+ points and 10+ boards a game. If he and T-Mac does not get injured, they have a shot at the title. Shane Battier was a good addition too, it helps give them more offense.

T mac is struggling, and not getting his team involved just like he always has done. That is why he can't get out of the first round.
