There are a couple of things wrong with your understanding of Frankenstein.
1. Frankenstein (Viktor) was the man who created the 'monster', not the monster himself.
2. The 'monster' is just a human who is big, ugly, and has been made rather than born. Therefore, he can be killed just like any other person.
Viktor Frankenstein dies from illness in the North Pole. We never see the monster die, but we assume that he is killed by Walton, the sailor to whom Viktor has been retelling his tale.

Go to a library. It will not only draw you back to its many answers but it
will excite you to question more.

Find the original Frankenstein book by Mary Shelley. It will make you not only wonder why but will open up a whole new perspective to a common linkage within yourself.

What makes you really think that a witch must be destroyed through fire?

An existential crisis. Frankenstein's monster cannot be killed. In the end of the book, he kills himself because he has no purpose because Frankenstien (the creator) dies. But in terms of hollywood maybe fire.

If you means his creature or monster...in Shelly's book he walks off into the ocean after placing his creator...Victor F. on a funeral pyre he constructed. They were in the Arctic Circle and Victor had just related his story to the ship's captain...Walton.

Hollywood likes to portray the monster as dying in fire....that's just wrong.
