I had the honor of escorting some students to space camp. There is something about the Outback in Australia that attracts objects from space. The majority of the exhibits came from there, including what was left of the 1st space lab. Why the attraction I have no idea unless it has something to do with gravitational pull. But the outback is desolate as the deserts here who would notice?

I'm going to answer this seriously because I've seen a huge, black triangle one almost directly over my head, sitting silently, and I don't care who makes fun. I am educated and not foolish, and it was not a plane. I don't think that they would 'need' land anywhere, but if they chose to, they should choose every major city around the world at the same time. I say this because that is what would be required for belief, although I don't know if that's the goal. I'd have to know the goal to make an educated choice about one city. Interesting question.

I think there are two factors to consider when looking at this question: 1)Can the aliens survive our planet without their ships 2)What is their purpose in visiting earth? The second factor would have more immediate reasons...i.e. are they gonna just blow us up or take us all prisoner.
