Because they are so big and we would be food for their babies when they hatch, if they hatch. Come to think of it, lol, I can't remember if all dinosaurs lay eggs or just give birth or both. I think most people like to picture something cuddly and pretty - and a bit smaller, making a nest.
Sorry my answer is probably no help at all, but it's all I could think of.

Probably because there was a 50-50 chance that a dinosaur would just eat its baby.

Dinosaurs are extinct for a reason, you know.

we like to think of them as reptilian and primitive. we don't associate dinosaurs with birds and mammals that do take care of their young because we are kind of slow.

whats with the we ,who doesnt think that

check the bbc series --walking with the the dinosaurs,

lots of evidences of dinosaurs looking after their young
