I'm trying to think of films made for kids, but still enjoyable for adults to watch.

Nah! it's all good.. those series of books were all very well written and not really meant for just kids.. I mean, I see a lot of older guys sitting in cafes reading the Harry Potter series. They're very light weighted and enjoyable for anyone. They're harmless sort to say! Plus, you're still very young and the Harry Potter series is where the kids tend to grow up in each book, so basically it ranges from a young age to more of a young adult age such as yourself. Many young kids can't even understand the last couple of books. I'm turning 18 this year and I love the series! It's such a magical story and it gives you somewhat of a feeling of home. As for the Lemmony Snickets books, I liked the books but the movies were a bit too childish for me. There is nothing wrong with liking things for a young genre... don't let anyone stop you from growing up.. you should be young at heart! cheers!

I was just thinking Shrek too! First one that came to mind. Good for kids but there are also alot of jokes and inuendos aimed for adults to pick up on, so enjoyable for both.

Plus the visuals aren't bad either!

I just saw Cars and liked it. My kid had me watch Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle by Hayao Mizazaki. His films transport you for a time. Spirited Away won an Oscar a few years back too. I highly recommend them.

"Babe"
When I saw the film the first time I was in theater full of kids. It's a great movie about breaking stereotypes. What a great message for everyone.
