There was a t.v. commerical aired in the U.S. sometime during the late 80's to early 90's (probably more the 90's, I can't remember). I use to laugh hysterically at it and I think it actually became part of pop culture at the time. It was a commercial about medical-alert jewelry (necklace) for older people/people who live alone/people with health problems. In the commercial would be an older person on the floor and they would say "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up". (I don't think that intrinically is funny, but the phrase became a hysterical line to use often, whether ethically right or not). Any ideas about where this commercial was from? Company? Anybody know if it still airs? Is it on YouTube?

I dontknow if this is on YouTube, but the name of the company is called Life Alert. I remember the commercial also and want to say that it is from the same time period. The commercial has been modified slightly to show the old lady on the floor, but it has the voice over instead of her uttering that famous line. The product is endorsed by C. Everett Koop, the former United States Surgeon General. He apparently is old too as he uses the system. They also have senior citizens giving testimonialso on the commercial. They have also now added smoke detectors that are linked to the system. I have seen this commercial as recently as 2 days ago on a nationally televised network ( don't remember which one). It was late at night, roughly midnight cst. I don't know if saying that I saw it in the St. Louis area would help or not. I know that this is the first time that I have seen the commercial in the last 5 - 10 years.

relies upon on who you're conversing approximately. maximum each and every physique is asserting Morgan Fairchild, yet she isn't very old and that i doubt that who you're asking approximately. The older female is Carrie Donovan, who exchange into an editor for the manhattan circumstances. She died in 2001.
