Mouse works fine when offline and also, when i'm idle sitting online. i formatted my sys but the same prob persists. Plssssssssss help..........

I'd like to find out what kind of mouse you have, and secondly if you have the software that came with the mouse. I would reinstall the software for the mouse. Or if it didn't come with software I would uninstall the driver from the control panel > mouse and reinstall then try to figure out if the settings on some sort of Web protection program is interfering with your mouse. (i.e. Norton Internet Security) etc.

Your dial up modem use the same IRQ number as the on of your mouse. I guess it's quiet an old pc. Go the the properties of your modem. Change the IRQ number to something else. Need more info on your OS etc. if you need specific guidance. Good Luck

May be dust in mouse, clean it otherwise check the setting in control panel
