Are you talking English or a foreign language? In English, 'it' would be the correct answer. In a foreign language it would depend on the particular set of grammar rules. Is 'volcano' a Spanish word? If so, then given that it ends with an 'o' I would guess that it carries a masculine pronoun - in Spanish.

Definitely "it" because a volcano isn't male or female and so it can only go with the pronoun for inanimate objects such as volcanoes.

"It" is the only acceptable choice, unless you wish to personiify it for some reason, such as when a boat is given a female name and addressed as "she". Whether you'd call a volcano "he" or "she" is up to you, I suppose, but "it" is the proper pronoun for normal use.

It if you just talk about any volcano, if that volcano has a name, for example you may say the, example, "This's an active volcano, it has been active since 1980." "The volcano Mount Alban has been active since 1980." Got it. I hope this helps.

A proper pronoun has to agree with number and gender... For example: Little girls would become them, or they (depending on the sentence) In this case, it is ONE little boy, so it would be he. So the proper pronoun in this sentence would be HE. Hope this helped!

The Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes is Pele, a female, so I guess volcanoes should be referred to as she.

Well it's not technaically an "it". A volcano is a thing. Maybe a place, depending on how you use it in a sentence. But a volcano has no sex..

since it has no gender, it would be an it. But traditionally, volcano gods have chiefly been known as women, so it could also be a she.
