Here's my situation. I used Alcohol 120% to make virtual cd/dvd drives, but I make too much and the drives occupied the drive letters of my other physical drives. I told Alcohol 120% to make lesser drives to try to make the drives reappear again, but it didn't. Now I can't acces my xD cards, SD cards, flash drives, or anything that has to do with a usb connection. How do I make it reappear again?

Most likely you overrided the "letter" which each drive is defined in. Go to start -> right click on my computer -> manage -> left column click disk management -> you will see a list of your drives/virtual drives/and memory drives. You can right click on each one and specify a different letter. You will see "Letter" duplicates if your memory usb slots are also the same as your virtual drives.

ok bestway out is to delete all the usb drivers in other words go to contol panel.. system.. hardware.. click on each and every usb driver you may have several and uninstall them 1 at a time, untill you have uninstalled all of them.

reboot your system and let windows find the usb ports again and reinstall the drivers for them
