This should be listed on the information package for that car. Hybrid cars are not made to be recharged from house electricity.
They use the brakes to recharge the battery (recycle the energy instead of wasting it in heat energy) You can recharge the battery's, but do you think the average person is going to do that when most of the time, they don't even change thier oil when recommended.

Actually GM just came out with a plug in your house recharge battery car , I dont know the specifics but check out their site and see what they have to say , should be a pretty good showcase on it . Leave it to Chevy to think of everything :)
