No. It would be my inability to cope with rage in a productive manner that would scare me. Or a limited awareness about myself... then I would just act out all enraged rather than try to cope.

But I am human, I innately have a capacity for rage.

No, I think everybody has the capacity for great rage. I used to fly off the handle and hurt people all the time before I got help. What would scare me is if I was unable to assess my rage and deal with it in a mature, adult manner.

Everyone has a dark side, though few would confess it or even be aware of it. Control is very possible even in that dark side. Losing control to rage is a sign of character weakness and a severe lack of discipline. Uncontrolled rage gets you killed. Big guys seem to lose control to rage when they are facing a little guy. Suppose that little guy pierces his eyes with his thumbnails. How smart was it for that big guy to lose control to rage?

Used to, until I got proffesional help, ie. therapy. Main reason I quit many jobs in the past is because of my low tolerence I didn't trust myself, I was afraid I would knock my Boss's head off.

Yes. I fear that such experience or emotion can change me. Perhaps it can summon something within me that is not really me but of a darker self.

It used to, and it rears up every now and then, but I have it under control.

I got older and mellowed out a lot.
