With your writing skills, I wouldn't try e-mailing any of them.
I met a lot of rock stars over the years. Most of the established stars are very nice people because they're used to star-struck fans.
The worst people to meet are the up-and-comers because they act like they are the next big thing, but wind up being the ones that fizzle out the quickest.
If you see someone famous doing something with their family, you shouldn't even approach them. They need their time to be themselves.
Alice Cooper was the coolest celeb I met. Randy Savage was a close second.

My father met John Candy when he was delivering papers to Mr. Candy's office. My father said he was gracious and polite, just a really nice person. My Dad didn't ask for an autograph, he felt it would have been rude and intrusive. I agree with him. He also worked with Jim Carrey at Titan Wheels in Toronto, before he was famous of course. Of Mr.Carrey, my Dad said he was also very, very nice and somewhat quiet. I'm proud of our Canadian entertainers. More proud of my father though :)

I once had a session with a famous psychiatrist, Dr. David Viscott. It was the worst experience of my life. He was grossly incompetent, cruel, grandiose, and damaging. He was nothing like on TV. Too bad he died before I became wise enough to take action against him. Had he lived a little longer, I would have sued him for malpractice and reported him to the state medical board.

Yes.
I've met Rick Springfield twice, had a picture both times, he was very nice.
Vince Gill, picture, also nice.
The Kentucky Headhunters, super nice, no pics, though I did go hang out at a bar with them.
Marty Stuart, nice, picture.
Travis Tritt, *not* very nice, no picture, not even hello.
Conway Twitty touched my arm and said he would be right back, but he did not come back. Still nice though.

I met Joe Torre, the manager of the Yankees at the Javit's center in 1999. I said,"You're the best, Mr. Torre."
He said:"I know."
One of the greatest men of the last 100 years, he is.
GO YANKEES!!!
Also, I met David Akers, Kicker for the pathetic Philadelphia Eagles at the Lehigh Valley Auto Show this past summer. I heckled him and he gave me a venomous stare but said nothing. What a pansy.

I met Gunther Gabel Williams, the now dead lion tamer for the Ringling Brother circus back in the 70's.
I asked for an autograph, and he told me to go to hell in a German accent.
So I got that going for me........ which is nice.
