Could be laziness, but not always.
Teachers are sometimes pretty bad, too, and I can see it every day, as I am giving "help" to students in a private evening school.
I often have kids with an assignment on a subject for which they HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE TUITION!
"Calculate the frequency of a photon emitted from a transition from level 3 to level 1 in an atom of Hydrogen" was the worst:
The kids have not be taught the atom... Just been given a formula, no other explanation. This is a question of Atomic Physics (Uni)... given to a 14 years old who has not yet learned Pythagore!
Where is education going?

Do you ever think that maybe they need help and can't find the answer in the notes or the book....maybe it is an opinion question. I asked a very well thought out homework question earlier, and people were saying that I need to stop procrastinating and do my own homework. It's due Monday and I am sick so I was getting a head start. This class is so hard, it's government and it was just one question. Plus, what if a kid has a learning disability and is kind of slow and they need help? I don't understand why people get so angry and irritated, they don't have to answer the question, just overlook it. It's about getting help, not having stupid answers that make you feel bad about yourself. If the answerer doesn't know the answer, then they shouldn't answer it.

To Melissa above, I think its clear that alot of these kids are posting whole homework assignments. When I see 8 different posts on Anatomy from the same person, I get the hint. And when kids actually post as many as 10 questions on the same page, numbered and written word for word from their assignment. Give me a break. And when I was in high school, government was not that hard, go suck it up.

definite why dont they. Thats what we went to college for to pay attention ,learn, and to act ourselves. it could be super in the event that they could persist with our occasion, rather of growing to be hooligans.....this is not meant for the few reliable youngsters we've.

Some people work better when they have the answer, the question, and time to figure out the inbetween.

Cuz they don't want to do the work themselves. I've done it before, but I've requested the work, so I could actually learn how to do the problems. Search engines can only get you so far...

People are too lazy to think for themselves. They want other people doing their homework for them.
