Read, get more sleep, go to the movies more frequently, write, repair a lot of the things around the home, read, read, read, go out to eat. Play. My tv was broken for most of the summer and I had a great time listening to music and wandering around outside, reading, visiting friends and family, teaching the cats to bring in the mail and vacuum the stairs, many other things. I didn't even miss the tv (I would however seriously miss my computers).

I do not have a TV attached in my home. My computer is occasionally used for ?'s and answers, the news and research. So I guess I am left with the oldest form of entertainment, conversation with my husband and children. Research on the puter is absolutely astounding for topics of discussion.
