how to come out of trauma of a unrequited love?

how would you forget someone whom you have loved wholeheartedly , but the other person after few days of intimate courtship decides it was a mistake and moves on to someother stranger and later tells you thats the best thing that has ever happened!!!,how would you come out of such a agonising reality

Realize that you couldnt have really loved someone who would have done that to you. Because you really wouldnt have loved someone who could be so superficial and reckless with your feelings, right?

I've been there, done that. For one thing, quite making such a big deal about how great he was - your blowing something waaaaay out of proportion. Yuo obviously didnt know him all that well. Start focusing on the things he did that bothered you about him. You'll feel better. Believe me.

In psalms there is a verse that says, "tears may linger for the night, but joy cometh with the morning." It's one of those verses that's kept me going in the times when I just felt like there was nothing left. It's hard when somebody hurts us like that, either intentionally or unintentionally. I would say that the best piece of advice I have is not to sit around thinking about it. Get to work! Go do something, learn something, improve yourself. This will not only get your mind off of him, but will help you to gain more confidence in yourself.

if he wouldnt fight to be with you he's obviously missing something. you might not know exaclty why or what it was he was missing, but one day youll look back and understand it better. give yourself time and move on.
