Always use an astringent which is alcohol free, so that you can use it daily.
Always do this process of cleaning before going to bed not anytime in between.
Avon Aloe Toner with Tea Tree Oil has cleansing, astringent and antiseptic properties
It is Dermatologist tested, Hypoallergenic, Alcohol free.

It depends on your skin type. Those with normal skin can use it once a day. Followed by moisturizing
Those with oily skin can use it 2-3 times a day.
Those with dry skin can use it only only once in two days (of really needed) followed by good moisturizing.
Though its a great cleaner, but also strips the skin of its natural oil ans suppleness. So be carefull.
A natural astringent is better. Use rose water, its safe, and also adds natural glow. It can be used 2-3 times a day without any problem.

You should use astringent only on oily skin on your face twice a day, once after a shower in the morning & after you wash your face before going to bed. Dont use it too much in winter. For people with normal skin who have suddenly developed oily patches on the nose & forehead use it only there

I'm back. My self personally, use several products that work great for me.heres the first thing i use.
Sea Breeze for sensitive skin. that way it's not too strong on your skin.I use it every day. You definetely need a good lotion for your face. This way you're putting moisture back in to your skin. Because astringents may dry your face. It's Friday morning and I'l get the names of some producys i use and do. I'll get the info for you today.

Why shouldn't people with dry skin use astringents?
An astringent dries out skin.
Thus, it will irritate already-dry skin, causing it to:
Burn,
Itch, and
Become Red
(Symptoms may take up to a few days after beginning to use the product before they become noticeable.)
Astringents are among the leading causes of irritant contact dermatitis (a reaction resembling allergic contact dermatitis, but occurring to local skin only).

every-time you wash your face since the pores on our face open and an astringent or even better a toner helps to close them to avoid occurrence of pimples
