Teachers should not allow themselves to fall into this trap because in some cases when taken to the extreme, it can have negative consequences. A teacher's job is to ensure that each student is learning and achieving and to help a student who might be struggling.

I'm sure it happens from time to time if the teacher isn't much older than the student. Most of the time, if there's a significant age difference, a teacher will simply see a student as a child who is not yet old enough to be sexually interesting.

I am a teacher and I am focussed on my job and the education of my students. The way they look doesn't matter to me at all, as long as they're learning.
