We always had an angel when I was younger so I still put one on top today. Of course I always have one drunk relative who makes the tree up the angels butt joke.

i like the angel, my husband likes the star. so we just comprimised and one year i get to put the angel and the next year he puts the star.

well I put up a gold star on the top of the tree because it is what I have always put on the top. But I hang these real cute angels on the christmas tree.

I'm going with a squirrel this year. Got him at a hobby shop. Think I'll put glitter on him, too. Maman always had an angel or one of those things that looks like a ball with a point on top.

My mother always liked an angel because I think she felt it was more religious, but I always liked a star and I think since it represents the star of Bethlehem it's religious as well. She's grown to like stars a bit over the years, also. :)

Always an angel, which is a better look we think. But a star is more traditional I think.
