ive been working alot lately on Thurs nites & i have missed a few episodes. why isnt betty daniel's assistant anymore? why is amanda doing it now? tonite i only caught the last 30min of it

I love Ugly Betty! It's a great show. Well, Betty was offered an assistant editor position by Sofia (Salma Hayek) and Daniel felt that Betty deserved it after what she did for him. Basically, Betty saved Daniel's relationship with Sofia by getting them back together before Sofia was about to marry some other guy. Daniel knows that now he is more stable and in love that he can make it without Betty (we shall see!). Amanda was vying for Betty's job from the beginning and she knew that she could win Betty over by proving that she could take care of Daniel and be a good assistant. She was the one that helped Betty pull off the office Christmas party on $500 by using all her contacts. Now, Betty is on her way to her new job and may be in love with Henry. But, it looks like Hilda is trying to put a stop to that! Can't wait to see more!

I heard of the show but don't watch because the whole premise is sooooo stupid. Ok so she wears blue braces which is pretty bad, but she's supposed to be this weird ugly girl because she doesn't tweeze her eyebrows. What kind of stupid BS show is that.
