Probably but, how could they have targeted the Net? (I'm assuming you're talking about the internet) It's not like it's one specific entity that could be taken down by blowing up a specific location.

I believe so because the media works like our leaders. They only want you to see so much, The Internet has more free speech
then the media. The Internet may soon be regulated into what they call 'Internet 2'. See sources added

If terrorists successfully targeted the net, i.e. made it mostly useless,
there would be too much fear and desperation to have outrage, and
no way to broadly express the little outrage there was.

You have "nut cases" constantly targeting the "net"...

Each day, thousands of viruses are unleashed through out the Internet, by idiots, who in my opinion should be caught and prosecuted!

Spammers are just one step lower than the idiot who unleashed viruses for "fun"...

Outrage? No. Killing 2,000 people is a bigger deal than crashing the stock market for a couple weeks.
